TherapyGarden™ Essential Oil Cedarwood

TherapyGarden™ Essential Oil Cedarwood

(Juniperus Virginiana, Virginia, United States)

Native Americans used cedar oil medicinally and burned it for purification. Also used by the ancient Egyptians in cosmetics and perfumery, and in the East as a preservative and in incense.

The aroma of Cedarwood Oil is soft and woodsy, and blends well with Siberian Fir Needle, Rosewood, Bergamot, Cypress, Jasmine, Juniper, Neroli, Clary Sage, Rosemary, and Ylang Ylang.

Cedarwood oil is said to be useful for acne, dandruff, dermatitis, eczema, fungal infections, greasy skin, hair loss, arthritis, rheumatism, nervous tension and stress-related conditions, in addition to being an effective insect repellent. Avoid during pregnancy.
