Extracted from the patchouli plant, this EO has a powerful, pungent, mossy, fragrance. In the 19th century, patchouli was used to scent fabrics manufactured in India for export to Europe. More recently, if you remember the '60s, chances are you remember the scent of patchouli!

A tropical member of the mint family, grown in the East and the West Indies. The leaves are harvested, dried, and distilled to produce a high quality essential oil which only improves with age.
